At Chaotic Studios, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This policy describes the types of information collected and recorded by Chaotic Studios and how we use it.

Information Collected by Our Apps

Chaotic Studios does not require users to create accounts and does not directly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information through our apps.

Where applicable, an app may generate a unique identifier (UUID) tied to the device for leaderboard functionality. This identifier and the associated score may be stored so that the leaderboard can operate. The UUID is not associated with a name, email address, or other personal information, and it is not used to identify you personally.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

Our apps may use Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to display advertisements. By default, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares IP addresses, product interactions such as app launches and taps, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Users can reset or delete their Android advertising ID through the controls in their Android settings.

How Information Is Used and Shared

Chaotic Studios uses leaderboard UUIDs and scores only to provide leaderboard functionality where applicable. We do not sell this information.

Information collected by Google AdMob is processed and shared by Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention as described in Google's policies. Chaotic Studios does not control Google's handling of this information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards when handling data under our control. Data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Data Retention and Deletion

Leaderboard UUIDs and scores, where applicable, are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the leaderboard. To request deletion of leaderboard information associated with your device, please contact us. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies.

Our apps do not provide user accounts, so there are no app accounts to delete.

Website Log Files

Hosting providers may log visits to this website. Log information may include IP addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamps, referring or exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information may be used for analyzing trends, administering the site, and understanding website usage.

Children's Information

We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, monitor, and guide their children's online activity.

Chaotic Studios does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child provided this kind of information, please contact us immediately and we will make our best efforts to promptly remove it from our records.

Word games created by Chaotic Studios may inadvertently create a word that some may find offensive. We use a standard open dictionary and have attempted to remove potentially offensive words from the puzzles.
